Most of my tutoring sessions are conducted online, allowing me to support students across the United States. My tutoring program is tailored to meet your specific needs, with no minimum requirement for sessions—you determine what works best for you.  Please note that this is not just another test prep program; it is designed to supplement your study materials and enhance your understanding.
WHAT I DO:
Educational Approach: As an educator, I focus on how you conceptualize information. My goal is to help you tap into the knowledge you already possess while guiding you in processing and reasoning through exam questions effectively.

I employ higher-order thinking and reasoning skills through a technique known as scaffolding. During our initial session, I will provide a practice question for drill and assessment purposes. For subsequent sessions, please come prepared with specific questions or scenarios where you need assistance.
STUDY TECHNIQUE:
Many individuals rely on memorization rather than true internalization of knowledge. My teaching focuses on helping students internalize information rather than simply memorize it.  The ASWB exam is not designed to test recall of knowledge; instead, it is a standardized assessment that evaluates problem-solving, reasoning, and analytical skills, along with your ability to apply the information effectively.
FEE AND SCHEDULING:
- Fee: $65 per hour
- Platform: Sessions are conducted via Slack Huddle, a user-friendly video conferencing tool.

Important Information:
- Slack is a free, web-based service that does not require any downloads, although you can choose to install the application for added convenience.
- After scheduling your session, please ensure you accept the invite to gain access to the tutoring room.

Tutoring Availability:
Tutoring sessions are available Monday through Friday, between 8 AM and 4 PM Eastern Standard Time. Due to a high volume of requests, I work diligently to accommodate schedules that are suitable for both the student and myself. Please note that I am unable to offer sessions on weekends at this time.
Payments:
All payments are due at the time of booking to confirm and secure your appointment. Sessions are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. Accepted forms of payment include Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.
Important Note: There are no refunds for missed appointments or late arrivals.
What You Need to Know:

1. Registration: Connect with me by completing the registration form. Please fill out all your information and indicate your interest in one of the packages I offer. Once I receive your information, I will reach out via email to inform you of any available openings.
   
2. Scheduling: After we agree on a date, you will receive an email invitation to join Slack. This invitation will include instructions for registering so you can access my tutoring room for your support sessions.
   
3. Questions: Please send any questions you may have at least 24 hours prior to your session via Slack direct message (DM), which can be found in your online classroom. To ensure your questions are addressed promptly, please avoid sending messages through email or other instant messaging platforms, as they may get lost in the high volume of messages I receive throughout the week.
